Nicole’s story is about change and seeing new ways forward.
In fact, throughout her professional career and personal life, there have been so many interruptions and changes it’s hard to keep track! She spent many years as an advertising executive and a marketing consultant, took a career break to raise her 4 children but was still active during that time as a volunteer in the schools and in her community, started up a couple business ventures and twice lived overseas. Through all these experiences, she learned to embrace the changes and interruptions, lean into them, not be wary of them because as she discovered when at a crossroads, unforeseen and exciting new paths will be created.
With her children now grown and the desire to do something new, she faced yet another decision. Nicole decided to look into coaching because her friends and family have always told her she is a thoughtful and sympathetic listener. She also realized the part she found most rewarding with consulting was when she and her clients had the opportunity to have more meaningful discussions. Seeing that client satisfaction was very fulfilling. She discovered coaching was the ideal way forward for her, blending her natural skills with rewarding client outcomes. She’s a new coach and loves every client connection.
Prior to coaching and taking a career break to raise her family, Nicole held leadership roles at top multinational advertising agencies helping clients with brand advertising, point of sale and communication strategies to build and/or sustain brand equity and new product development. Key clients included Gatorade New Products (launched Propel Fitness Water), Quaker Cereals, Kraft Cheese, McDonald’s, and Hershey’s Chocolate. More recently, she started up her own small business and during the pandemic a small volunteer venture which helped local area merchants. She currently provides business consulting services to women and minority owned small businesses. This work is very rewarding for her. She is able to leverage her extensive brand strategy experience to help small businesses build their branding to stand out from competition and reach their fullest potential.
Nicole received her AB from Harvard College and her MBA from Harvard Business school. She received her PCC level coach certificate through Center for Coaching Excellence (CCE), completing 60+ hours of training, workshops and peer and mentor coaching. CCE is an ICF accredited course. She is currently working towards her ICF credentials and is taking new clients, both for her executive coaching and small business branding services.
